From public content to something useful
Context for LLMs and agents
Turn YouTube transcripts into searchable knowledge, cited answers, or your own summarization workflow.
Creator discovery
Compare public Instagram profiles, posts, and reels when researching creators for a brand or campaign.
Competitor and trend monitoring
Schedule public profile reads and TikTok searches in your app, then compare results over time.
Research datasets
Collect structured public data for analysis. Preserve source links and respect the rights and permissions for your use.
FetchFox retrieves the data. Scheduling, analysis, and AI generation run in your own tools.
Give your agent access to public social data
Ask it to read a video transcript, compare creator profiles, or find TikTok videos. FetchFox exposes the same operations as MCP tools, using the same project key and credits as REST.
Cursor
Add this to your personal ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Replace YOUR_KEY with your project key and enable FetchFox in MCP settings.

Run this in your terminal, replace YOUR_KEY, then use /mcp to check the connection.
claude mcp add --transport http fetchfox 'https://mcp.fetchfox.net/mcp' \
--header 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY'You need a FetchFox project key first. Keep it in personal configuration, outside shared repositories. These instructions are for Cursor and Claude Code; Claude web and Desktop connector setup differs.

Available fields depend on the source platform. A successful response is a snapshot; cached responses may be reused. Check platform terms, content rights, and privacy requirements for your use.

Failed processing uses no credits. Rate limits and request charges are returned in response headers. Source platforms can restrict access or change their formats; there is no published uptime or latency SLA.
